The Group Stage will take place in Hamburg, Glasgow, Bologna and Valencia on September 12th – 17th. The knock-out stage of the 2023 Davis Cup Finals will take place in Malaga on 21-26 November.

The qualifiers took place in February. 

The Davis Cup Finals will take place in November and will feature 16 teams. The winning nations from the 2023 Qualifiers will advance to the 2023 Finals, where they will join the 2022 champions and runners-up and two wild cards in a 16-nation line-up. The Davis Cup Finals Group Stage will take place in the week of 12 September 2023. The 12 winners in the Qualifiers – Chile, Croatia, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Great Britain, Republic of Korea, Netherlands, Serbia, Sweden, Switzerland and USA – will join Australia (2022 runner up), Canada (2022 champion) and the two wild cards, Italy and Spain.

Regarding tickets for the Davis Cup finals

One ticket: 3 matches

Each ticket grants access to a specific court for a whole tie, and you will be able to enjoy three high-level tennis matches between the two nations (two singles matches and one doubles match).

Numbered tickets

Rest assured that every Davis Cup ticket is numbered, meaning once the purchase is made, that seat in the stands is yours for the day. Once you get there, show your ticket, and someone will guide you to your seat.

Children under 6

Note that children under six years old do not need a ticket. However, they will not have a seat of their own and may have to sit on your lap. If you want to make sure your child is seated, make sure you also get him/her a ticket.

Davis Cup Finals format

The Davis Cup by Rakuten Finals, as its official name stands due to sponsorship agreements, will see the best nations of Tennis battle to win the highly coveted Davis Cup. A victory in the tournament would make the winning nation the new Tennis World Champions.

The Finals will feature 16 teams spread in 4 round-robin groups (meaning each nation will face every the two other nations from the group ) of 4 teams. The top two teams in each group will advance to the Final 8 in Malaga.

Ties at the Davis Cup Finals

Ties at the Davis Cup Finals consist of 3 best of three tiebreak sets matches. Each tie between two nations will therefore offer the spectator the chance to enjoy two singles matches and one doubles match.
